Major changes abounded in the offseason for your Boston Red Sox.  The biggest news being the trading RHP Casey Kelly, 1B Anthony Rizzo, OF Reymond Fuentes and OF Eric Patterson for 1B Adrian Gonzalez. The team has also signed OF Carl Crawford, RHP Taylor Bucholz.  The team also traded for LHP Andrew Miller in exchange for relief pitcher Dustin Richardson.

After placing 19 players on the DL last season, the team feels strongly that if healthy, they would have made it to the post season.  This season, the team is looking at recapturing the spirit that took them to the Fall Classic in 2007.

The team sports a pitching rotation of Josh Beckett, Jon Lester, John Lackey, Josh Beckett, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Clay Buchholz and Tim Wakefield.
